An escape room, also known as an "escape game", is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategies to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the room. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations with puzzles and challenges following the theme of the room.
Players will be metaphorically “locked” in a room, and in order to fully enjoy the game it is recommended that players remain inside the room throughout the allotted time. However, for safety reasons the door is accessible throughout the game, and players may leave the room if necessary.
Yes. If you do not want to sign the waiver, then you cannot participate.
Children ages 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone under the age of 18 must have the Waiver and Release of Liability form signed by their parent/legal guardian. Individual room ratings also apply.
It is recommended that players arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. In order to avoid disruptions once the game has begun, we cannot permit late arrivals. There are no refunds for late arrivals, so please plan accordingly.
In addition to the allotted time to play the game itself, players should expect a 10-15 minute briefing upon arrival to go over the rules of the game. Players may also stay for a short time after the game for team photos.
Escape rooms are challenging, so many players get close, but do not escape in time. Staff will collect you from the room if you are unsuccessful.
All you need to bring are your wits. The answers to the clues, riddles and puzzles are all in the room, and players can escape the room using basic logic, deductive reasoning, and teamwork skills.
The use of electronic devices (or any outside tools) is strictly prohibited. Locked boxes will be provided for all personal belongings.
